The tree planting program discussed below has been discontinued as we restructure our climate & social responsibility efforts. We are incredibly proud of the impact we achieved together and we deeply grateful for the support we received from our customers

We plant 5 trees for every bike sold. Check out this beautiful story by Deepak where he explains in details in how, by owning & using an OMO bike (or ebike) you produce more oxygen than carbon emitted. 

These trees are planted in the farms of underprivileged, thus providing them means of living along with the obvious reducing carbon footprint. Since these are farmers by nature, who know how to take care of trees better than most, we are able to sustain a whopping 80% trees of the saplings planted.

We have tied up with Sustainable Green Initiative, a Not-for-profit organization, who are as thorough as we are in what they do. SGI has planted over 4 lac trees in last 5 years helping nearly 5000 farmers.

Just after the purchase of a cycle, our customers get a certificate from SGI for having planted 1 trees.  This is certificate is also accompanied by the geotagged info of plants & their photos. This helps you locate your tree in real time and in a sense show you the area you are making a positive impact on. The customers are more always welcome to visit these farms and enjoy the nature.
