Jarvis Ace (7/21 Gear)

Got a 7 speed one for my son. Fatter tyres than his old cycle, but not hard to ride with 7 speed. Gears are of excellent quality. Breaks work well and handlebar grips are also soft. Delivery was 2 days ahead of time, but fitment was delayed due to holiday. Seat is easily height adjustable, so should last for 3-4 years. It is easy to assemble despite inadequate instructions (check YouTube for better instructions) - one note - front disc brake has a plastic clip inside which has to be removed before fixing the wheel.

Overall a good cycle.

Negative points are:
1. The green rim looks good, but the paint is very lightly applied. If you remove your tyres with metal grips, it will chip off.
2. Front tube as shipped was defective. Installation person replaced the tube and that too failed when he put it in. Then he had to take it to a local shop to put another tube.
3. Mudguards and stand are included in the price. Side stand is a bit long and as such cycle stands without any incline - chances of it falling over are large. Front mud-guard is on a clip that is too big - had to bend it so that it does not touch the wheel.
4. While whatsapp support is excellent, it would be good if website is updated with status of assembly, QA etc. It stays in unfulfilled for several days and then jumps to dispatched. Packaging was excellent though the large card-board box has to be thrown out quickly due to card-board smell.

My 9 year old son, loves his bicycle. It is comfortable, while the seats in beginning could easily be lowered for him to become confident while riding. It also, great to see how quickly my son understood to use gears for his advantage.
Overall, I would give 4 stars only if in this price, atleast a bell could be added, if not anything else.
Also, I am sure that this is a good enough cycle to continue till his 16..seems like a good investment..

Comfortable, sleek, smart..

Cycle is good and solid built. Its comes with 90% percentage assembled, remaining assembling can be done by ourselves with the basic toolkit and booklet provided. But still we need to fine-tune disc break and gear little bit by the expertise. It comes with 21 speed Shimano Tourney gear. They also provide mudguard( usually we have to buy separately for other brands ) and side stand, could have added bell also ;) . Weight of the cycle it little bit more, its a pros as well as cons. Shipping time of the product is comparatively more and it takes 10 - 15 days for the delivery. Also no-cost door step assembling should have given then it would be great.

Over all it is good and stylish cycle at reasonable price.

I think this is one of the bike which has both disk brakes plus 21 gears in 24T wheel size range. Suitable for 8+ Years

Hi received 24 inch cycle for kid.,looks elegant and of good quality, but no one came for assembly as promised..: 😔..There seems a joint in the rim which is visible. Mud guard quality is cheap and get loosens while riding. asked for a refund on assemble charges. not response by the company
