Bicycle Service And Maintenance FAQs

Bicycle Service & Maintenance

1. Can OMO service my bicycle?

We provide after-sales support through WhatsApp, calls and video assistance. We can help with maintenance, spare parts, replacements and upgrades. If required, we can also help connect you with a local bicycle technician, subject to availability.

2. Is there an OMO service centre near me?

We currently do not have service centres in all locations. If there is no OMO service centre near you, your bicycle can be serviced at a good local cycle shop.

3. Can I get my bicycle serviced at any local cycle shop?

Yes. Routine servicing, adjustments and most repairs can be done by a good local bicycle technician. We can guide you on what needs to be checked or replaced.

4. My bicycle has not been used for a long time. What should I do?

If the bicycle has been unused for several months, we recommend getting it checked before riding. The technician should inspect the brakes, tyres, tubes, chain, gears, cables, bearings and other moving parts.

5. Can you check a photo and tell me which parts need to be replaced?

Yes. Share clear photos and, where possible, a short video of your bicycle and the issue. We can guide you on what needs to be checked, repaired or replaced, and help with parts and upgrade options.

6. Can OMO provide a quotation for replacement parts?

Yes. Send us the bicycle model, the part you need and clear photos/videos if relevant. We can check the available replacement part and share its price where available. Local labour/service charges are generally determined by the local technician.

7. Can I upgrade parts instead of replacing them with the same part?

Yes, where compatible upgrade options are available. We can help you understand available upgrades for components such as brakes, suspension, tyres, drivetrain, pedals, saddle and other parts.

8. How much does bicycle servicing cost?

There is no single fixed servicing price because the cost depends on the bicycle's condition, work required and local technician charges. For an accurate estimate, have the bicycle inspected by a local cycle shop. We can help with the parts and replacement-cost estimate.

9. Can OMO help me find a local technician?

We can try to connect you with a local bicycle technician where one is available. Availability may vary by location.

10. How do I get service help from OMO?

Send us your bicycle model/order details and explain the issue on WhatsApp. Include clear photos or a short video where useful. Our team can then guide you on the next steps, parts, replacements or upgrades.
